How to apply to SCFE

Applications for 2024 are now open. You will be sent a confirmation email following your application.

To complete the process you will need:

  • Your PPS number
  • An email address
  • A mobile phone number

Important

Applicants are advised to pay particular care when entering details of their name, address and date of birth. Misspellings or inaccuracies when applying may result in issues and delays at later stages.

Please note:

  • All admissions to SCFE are subject to the regulations and policies of SCFE and the DDLETB.
  • Entry requirements for each course are set out in the relevant course pages in this site.
  • Applications are open from January to September each year, and courses run on an academic year basis, from September to May.
  • Places are limited on all courses and are allocated on a strictly first-come first-served basis, to learners who fulfil entry requirements and who have completed the application process.
  • Early application and prompt acceptance of places is recommended, due to the limited number of places available.
  • Acceptance of a place at SCFE implies acceptance of all policies and procedures of the College.
  • SCFE reserves the right to refuse a place on the grounds that the course applied for is not suited to or appropriate for the applicant. All applicants may avail of the College appeals process.

After offer and acceptance of place, a non-refundable acceptance fee of €50.00 is payable.

When will I get my Timetable?

Timetables will be issued at Induction, commencing in September

How do I accept a Place Offer

If you have received an offer of a course place, a non-refundable acceptance fee of €50.00 is required to reserve your place. You may now log in and pay this acceptance fee online. Your unique username and password are printed at the bottom of your offer letter.

Alternatively, you may pay the acceptance fee by card in person at the office or by telephoning 01-2852997.

Where can I find my Username and Password for eNROL page?

You can find your Username and Password at the bottom of the Acknowledgement Letter which was emailed to you when you applied for the course.  Your username is in the format 2024xxxx.

If you can’t locate it, go to https://ams.enrol.ie/scfe/2024/ and click on Forgot your password? to reset it.
